ABOUT ANNA
Hi, I’m Anna
After 25 years in the world of banking and corporate life, I’ve taken a completely different path — one that feels so much more aligned with who I am and what I truly care about.
I’ve always been drawn to understanding people — how we think, feel, move, and heal. That’s what first led me to study Sports Science many years ago. But like many people, life took me in another direction, and I ended up working in finance for over two decades.
It was fast-paced, demanding, and gave me so many skills I still use today — but deep down, I knew I was meant to do something more personal, more connected, more human.
That’s when Bowen Therapy found me. Or maybe I found it — either way, it felt like coming home. The more I learned about this gentle but powerful technique, the more it made sense to me.
It’s all about supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself, without force or pressure. Just subtle, considered movements that help release tension, calm the nervous system, and restore balance.
It’s honestly quite magic.

I recently decided to take the leap and set up my own practice. It’s scary, exciting, and completely the right next step.
The way I work is person-centred through and through. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all — I treat the individual in front of me, not just the symptoms.
Every session is different because every person is different.
Whether someone comes to me with chronic pain, stress, injury, or just feeling ‘out of sync’, I meet them where they are and work with what their body is telling me.
I’m genuinely passionate about this work.
It brings together everything I’ve learned in my career, education, and life experience — but most importantly, it allows me to help people feel more comfortable in their bodies and more connected to themselves. And that, for me, is everything.
Thanks for following along as I build this new chapter — I’m so looking forward to what’s ahead.
WHAT IS BOWEN THERAPY?
Bowen therapy is a form of bodywork that uses gentle, rolling movements over specific areas of the body. These movements stimulate the fascia—the soft tissue that covers muscles and organs—to encourage pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being by activating the body's natural healing mechanisms.
During a Bowen session, I apply gentle pressure using my thumbs or fingers to stimulate the nervous system, improve circulation, and enhance lymphatic drainage. This treatment is known for its ability to help people address a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, stress, and chronic pain.
